  • Why is it called 'Phoenix Anthem'?
The name symbolizes resurrection and proclamation—life rising from the ashes and the joyful anthem of Christ's victory. It reflects our mission to bring visual and verbal witness to Christ’s work through the arts and media, especially within the LCMS.
  • Who runs Phoenix Anthem?
Phoenix Anthem is led by Thomas Kelly, a lifelong Lutheran with a background in journalism, digital media, and church communications. His passion is to help Lutheran ministries proclaim Christ crucified through faithful storytelling, high-quality visuals, and digital outreach. His home Church is Trinity Lutheran Church, School, and Childcare in Sheboygan Wisconsin.
  • What does Phoenix Anthem do for LCMS congregations and ministries?
Phoenix Anthem provides Christ-centered media and communication services tailored for LCMS churches, schools, and ministries. Our work includes video production, livestream consulting, website design, podcasting, logo and print design, and digital outreach—always grounded in Lutheran theology and confession.
  • How is Phoenix Anthem different from other media or marketing firms?
We don’t just understand branding—we understand the Church. Phoenix Anthem is rooted in the beliefs of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. We approach every project as a form of faith-filled storytelling, helping you preach Christ crucified across every platform without compromising your doctrine or identity.
  • Do you work with small or rural congregations with limited budgets?
Yes. Many of our clients are small-town or rural LCMS churches and schools. We offer scalable services that can meet you where you are—whether you need help with a single promotional video, a new website, or ongoing digital support. Our goal is to serve the Gospel, not inflate costs.
